The tide mill is a two-story frame structure built after the American Civil War with a gable roof built on a narrow mole which separates a small lagoon or mill pond from the bay. Out in the Asheville / Brevard area of North Carolina for photo / video shoots. Took some photos of this beautiful area during the down time. A beautiful sail to Horn Harbor Marina in Mathews, VA to shoot aerial and ground photos for the marinas new owners. Beautiful weather, and we stopped on the way back to get some photos of a Chesapeake Bay icon, New Point Comfort Lighthouse. A sunny Memorial Weekend for aerial and ground photos around the Oyster Farm Marina at Kings Creek. The place was really busy and there were even fireworks. Covering the planting of oysters onto an artificial reef in the river. Great time was had by all, and a really good turnout of boats. A fun and challenging day shooting at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach. The biggest issue was that inside the small metal hangar there was no GPS at all.. So I had to revert to the olden days (LOL 5 years ago) and fly-by-wire in and around the aircraft without a safety net! It was great fun, and a very interesting place to visit. A fun air and ground shoot at the Calvert Cliffs State Park, in Maryland. It was very overcast, but that added to the ambiance.. The first of 3 promo videos for 2 Hampton marinas to show off their facilities and attract boaters, and for a Homeowners association to attract home buyers. 1. Southall Landings Marina Another sunny day. Too good to waste, so took the Mavic Pro to the Great Bridge bridge in Chesapeake. Making the most of I think the first sunny weekend this year :) Drove over to Portsmouth for some street shooting. Also took the Mavic Pro up despite it being freezing and extremely windy. Had a great day out. Despite it being freezing cold and very windy, it was great to see the sun again! Memorial Day Weekend shoot at The Oyster Farm, Cape CharlesAdded: Monday May 29th 2017By: Air Aspects A beautiful sunny day getting aerial photos for the Oyster Farm Marina at King Creek, Cape Charles. Although it was a little windy, the photos came out really well and summed up the marina and surrounding property. Fun evening shoot to capture fireworks at the Chesapeake Jubilee.
