Another photo shoot in Chesapeake involving racing the weather.  A brief gap after days of rain, but more clouds were fast moving in!

It’s been a busy week with several commercial and residential real estate shoots.  These are from a shoot for Rose and Womble of a beautiful house near Sandbridge in Virginia Beach.  I took the standard shots, and also a few ’Terry’ shots while I was there :)

A fun trip to Scottsdale, AZ and several other tourist destinations around the state.

Air Aspects photos of an old Virginia tide mill were used for an interesting article in the House and Home magazine.  It's great seeing my work in print again.  No matter how many times I see them, it never gets old.

An aerial shoot of a new oyster barge owned by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.  These photos were for the Foundation magazine, with more photos and video coming soon from the barge christening.

Sunny aerial shoot at the Top Rack Marina on the ICW in Chesapeake, VA.  I shot video and photos for use in their web sites and advertising.

Fun commercial shoot in North Carolina. This was an aerial and ground photo shoot of a 7-11 in Barco.  Beautiful day, managed to get the shoot in between storm bands..

The Shopper advertising magazine in Chesapeake is publishing a story on Jones CPAs, in Virginia Beach.  I was hired to take photos of their team, office and show the proximity to Virginia Beach Town Center.

Out in the Asheville / Brevard area of North Carolina for photo / video shoots.  Took some photos of this beautiful area during the down time.

Really fun shoot for the City of Norfolk Economic Development Department at the empty former Nordstrom Department Store in Norfolk's MacArthur Center.  Got interior and exterior footage, and even flew around indoors, which was awesome.

A beautiful sail to Horn Harbor Marina in Mathews, VA to shoot aerial and ground photos for the marinas new owners. Beautiful weather, and we stopped on the way back to get some photos of a Chesapeake Bay icon, New Point Comfort Lighthouse.

A sunny Memorial Weekend for aerial and ground photos around the Oyster Farm Marina at Kings Creek.

The place was really busy and there were even fireworks.

Beautiful sunny day for an aerial photography shoot in Portsmouth.  Two apartment complexes with some excellent views of the Elizabeth River.

A great fun weekend filming at 'Warriors Rest', an 80 acre property in Cambridge MD run by retired Navy SEAL Don Shipley and his wife, Diane.  Their charity offers hunting retreats for wounded warriors, veterans and their families.  The resulting 3-part video was placed on their membership website https://videos.extremesealexperience.com

A great day shooting at Warriors Rest, a charity property where wounded warriors can go to relax and hunt.  The owners, Don and Diane Shipley are an amazing and dedicated couple, and the 80 acre property is fully stocked for the visitors.

Fourth Commercial Real Estate shoot this week.  This one was more complicated, as it was pretty much right outside Oceana Naval Air Station.  

There were jets on touch-and-go training flying really low literally overhead every minute or so, which meant communication with the Air Traffic Control was essential.  I had to bring the drone down every time the jets were near,  and take the shots quickly between passes.

A neat shoot with GPC Joint Venture.  We were driving around looking for the best camera positions to view the new bridge replacement on I64 in Chesapeake as the construction progresses.

A fun air and ground shoot at the Calvert Cliffs State Park, in Maryland.
It was very overcast,  but that added to the ambiance..

Took a trip to Maryland for a Father's Day party and also a head shot photo shoot for Baleigh Doyle, a beautiful, intelligent young lady who is running for Miss Montana 2018.

Quick flight and ground shoot at Southall Landings Marina in Hampton.

A beautiful place with excellent access to the Chesapeake Bay.

An interesting aerial shoot for an accident scene a couple of days ago.

A driver got a ticket, and wants aerial shots to help explain what happened to the judge when going to court.

Making the most of I think the first sunny weekend this year :)  Drove over to Portsmouth for some street shooting. Also took the Mavic Pro up despite it being freezing and extremely windy.

Had a great day out.  Despite it being freezing cold and very windy, it was great to see the sun again!

A very sunny, and windy photo shoot at the Jordan Bridge in south Norfolk.  Also testing the newest drone, which handled 30 mph gusts really well..

Supermegasnowpocalypsemageddonnado 2018.. The East coast got hit by tons of snow, so a good excuse to take some photos, and fly the drone.

A fun day photographing the wedding of Ryan and Sarah Harris in Norfolk, VA.  Over 2,000 photos to go through, but managed to narrow down to about 400 to present to the happy couple!

A cool Engagement shoot at the Oak Grove Lake Park, in Chesapeake, VA.  Despite there being millions of people around, we managed to still pull off some great shots from the air and the ground!
