This aerial shoot was something different! 

I was commissioned for an aerial photo shoot for an empty lot.  The owner is going to be planning a house for the property,  and wanted the lot plans overlaid on the photos for 3rd party reference.

Cool aerial shoot at a working Cotton Gin in Windsor, VA.  For the first time in weeks there have been a few days where I was able to fly.

Air Aspects photos of an old Virginia tide mill were used for an interesting article in the House and Home magazine.  It's great seeing my work in print again.  No matter how many times I see them, it never gets old.

A cold visit to Cambridge, MD for a video shoot of a Wounded Warriors end-of-season waterfowl hunt.  I shot over 4 days, resulting in over 18 hrs of footage.  That was then edited down to create this 30 minute final video.

An aerial shoot of a new oyster barge owned by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.  These photos were for the Foundation magazine, with more photos and video coming soon from the barge christening.

Sunny aerial shoot at the Top Rack Marina on the ICW in Chesapeake, VA.  I shot video and photos for use in their web sites and advertising.

A gorgeous sunny day for a shoot at The MARQ in Virginia Beach.  This was an aerial and ground shoot to capture the property's beautiful features.

The Shopper advertising magazine in Chesapeake is publishing a story on Jones CPAs, in Virginia Beach.  I was hired to take photos of their team, office and show the proximity to Virginia Beach Town Center.

Really fun shoot for the City of Norfolk Economic Development Department at the empty former Nordstrom Department Store in Norfolk's MacArthur Center.  Got interior and exterior footage, and even flew around indoors, which was awesome.

A beautiful sail to Horn Harbor Marina in Mathews, VA to shoot aerial and ground photos for the marinas new owners. Beautiful weather, and we stopped on the way back to get some photos of a Chesapeake Bay icon, New Point Comfort Lighthouse.

A sunny Memorial Weekend for aerial and ground photos around the Oyster Farm Marina at Kings Creek.

The place was really busy and there were even fireworks.

3 aerial video shoots for the City of Norfolk Office of Marketing and Communications.  The shoots were held over 3 visits.

A great fun weekend filming at 'Warriors Rest', an 80 acre property in Cambridge MD run by retired Navy SEAL Don Shipley and his wife, Diane.  Their charity offers hunting retreats for wounded warriors, veterans and their families.  The resulting 3-part video was placed on their membership website https://videos.extremesealexperience.com

Beautiful sunny day shoot for a waterfront lot in an upscale neighborhood in Virginia Beach

A great day shooting at Warriors Rest, a charity property where wounded warriors can go to relax and hunt.  The owners, Don and Diane Shipley are an amazing and dedicated couple, and the 80 acre property is fully stocked for the visitors.

A super fun day on the Lafayette River in Norfolk, VA. working with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.  Covering the planting of oysters onto an artificial reef in the river.  Great time was had by all,  and a really good turnout of boats.

A fun and challenging day shooting at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach.  The biggest issue was that inside the small metal hangar there was no GPS at all..  So I had to revert to the olden days (LOL 5 years ago) and ’fly-by-wire’ in and around the aircraft without a safety net!
It was great fun, and a very interesting place to visit.

Fourth Commercial Real Estate shoot this week.  This one was more complicated, as it was pretty much right outside Oceana Naval Air Station.  

There were jets on touch-and-go training flying really low literally overhead every minute or so, which meant communication with the Air Traffic Control was essential.  I had to bring the drone down every time the jets were near,  and take the shots quickly between passes.

A fun air and ground shoot at the Calvert Cliffs State Park, in Maryland.
It was very overcast,  but that added to the ambiance..

The first of 3 promo videos for 2 Hampton marinas to show off their facilities and attract boaters, and for a Homeowners association to attract home buyers.
