My ongoing construction project in Norfolk is getting closer to wrap up. At this point, there are only a few things to be done. Its been really interesting watching this building grow.

This was an interesting project. A property developer has begun clearing trees for an upcoming project in Chesapeake.
Because there is already an established neighborhood next to the development, before they began, the local civic league had asked for a 100ft buffer of trees.

A fun and challenging day shooting at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach. The biggest issue was that inside the small metal hangar there was no GPS at all.. So I had to revert to the olden days (LOL 5 years ago) and fly-by-wire in and around the aircraft without a safety net!
It was great fun, and a very interesting place to visit.
Fourth Commercial Real Estate shoot this week. This one was more complicated, as it was pretty much right outside Oceana Naval Air Station.
There were jets on touch-and-go training flying really low literally overhead every minute or so, which meant communication with the Air Traffic Control was essential. I had to bring the drone down every time the jets were near, and take the shots quickly between passes.
Third of four commercial real estate aerial photography shoots. This one for a retirement community in Hampton, VA.
2nd of 4 commercial real estate aerial shoots this week.
This one was for a neat brewpub, distillery and restaurant in Hampton, VA

So many trees! My drone was close enough to kiss them throughout the photo shoot, but it controlled its urges :)

Super secret shoot for a husbands birthday. This couple had spent 4 years working to create the house of their dreams. The final aerial shot was quite heavily edited, with grass replaced, many items removed, and the horse added in (he/she has come out for a later photo.) This was printed and framed, and presented to the husband for his birthday.
Original photo, leading to the final photo.

Very pretty day taking aerial photos of a waterfront property in Virginia Beach that’s just coming onto the market
Fun day of aerial photography and filming at Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake :) For once the sun cooperated!
Great day shooting for a For Sale By Owner property in Chesapeake, VA. Even though the trees were a bit bare, I think I captured the feel of the property.
Inside video and aerial video were then used to make the video.
